How difficult is it to change brake fluid?

I have no idea what I'm doing, and am up for something as complicated but not more complicated than an oil change. Should I leave the brake fluid to the mechanic? If so, how much should I expect to pay?How difficult is it to change brake fluid?
Leave it to a mechanic.especially if you don't know what you are doing.Don't wanna mess with the hydraulics of a brake system. That's messing with danger. If you ain't got brake hydraulics, you ain't got no brakes!Expect to pay 35-40 bucks and they might also charge you for the brake fluid too.Unless it's part of a whole %26quot;package%26quot; deal. How difficult is it to change brake fluid?
Keep in mnd you're messing with your brakes...the most important part of the car. Honestly if you dont know what you're doing you should take it to a dealer. You bleed them from the line...some cars you have to do it in a certain order too. Or you can lose your brakes. I've always done it myself, but I'm thinking it should be about $100-$200 at a dealership. How difficult is it to change brake fluid?
Do you know how to bleed the brakes on your car? If so, just keep doing it until the fluid coming out is nice and clean.

Some newer cars with ABS especially, require certain procedures over and above older cars.

How much it costs can vary quite a bit, depending if the bleeder screws are rusted shut.
