I've been trying to work out how to change the brake fluid on my scooter but it's pretty confusing to a noob like myself. Do I need some kind of kit to bleed the brake fluid? and if I do, can I just add some new brake fluid into the reservoir instead of bleeding them? I don't know the original brake fluid type in there but I've just bought some DOT4 that says suitable for mixing with certain other brake fluids?Changing scooter brake fluid?

Best advice, get a pro to do it while you watch. Take a lot of notes and pictures. Brakes are super critical for a bike and not something to experiment with. The fluid is corrosive to plastics and causes cancer, too. Not something to mess around with!Changing scooter brake fluid?
